Ugolino's Busywork
(Or How I Spend My Freetime To Help You Bastards)

All right, snerds, here's a few links to the stuffs I've put together thus far.  Enjoy.

The first page will show...well, somethin' not-quite-so-specific, just a quick rundown of some of the percentage boosting stuffs in game.  So...that's below.  Above, the tabs will move you to the slightly more in-depth sections.

Percentage Boosts!

percentage boosts.xls

Simple enough to navigate, methinks -- open it up, type in the percentile that each point
will be providing you, then scan through the giant field of data to find the number you're lookin' for.

The idea is simple: let's say you use Gaia 9's and want to know how many points in Eternity you need to get it to round up to 10.  You'd simply look up how much each point of Eternity gives (tool-tip says 0.4% per point, so the entry field at the top would say "0.40%"), punch that in, then scan down the 9 Column (along the top) until you see the field that says "9.5%".  In this case, that would be K21, which is 14 ranks of Eternity.  If you'd want it to round to 11, you'd need 10.5 (K49, 42 ranks), 11.5 for 12 (K77, 70 ranks), or even 12.5 for 13 (K105, needing a cool 98 ranks of Eternity)

Unfortunately, I'm not quite good enough with Excel to figure out a seamless way to simply input the numbers you want (Say, Gaia 9 rounding to 12 plus current ranks of Eternity, how many needed, converted into XP) and get the results you need.  So it still requires a little bit of work on my part.  Uh....my bad.  Sorry 'bout that.

Also, at the bottom of the chart is a secondary set of fields, used to quickly calculate how much of a boost you are getting out of your Class Enhancement/Class Specialization ranks.  Furthermore, if they modify a specific weapon (or pet or whatever), you can put the relevant stats into the fields below to see the direct results of the fruits of your labor.

I left my own stats in there (99 CE, 87 CS) as an example -- as you can see, all you need to punch in is the respective ranks and the minimum that your Class Bonus provides (as a warrior, my bonus is "5" for the 5% to top-end damage we get).  Beneath that are the tell-tale specifics for the 74 Whip (which I love OH SO MUCH), and -- as an added bonus -- the ability to punch in how many ranks of Slash Spec I have to determine any further weaponry modifications.  Yes, I realize that, as a warrior, my Class Bonus wouldn't *actually* affect the low-end of the whip, but I left the field(s) there so if you are, say, something OTHER than a Warrior, you'll still see the correct numbers.  Should see the correct numbers.  Might see...?  Aw, hell, you get the idea.
